Win some, lose some, at the end of the day all that matters is we spent the day in the streets together 🛹

With Phoenix being injured we had a bit of a change of plans last minute where owner operator Jordan Queen joined in on the Community Unity 2 Flat Tournament. Met with a familiar face in the Semifinal Match (best 2/3 no repeat tricks) Mr Queen played against his own rider Payton Petersen. It is always a good fun game of skate with the boys but Payton came with the heat.

Here is a SuperCut of the 35 minutes recorded thankfully by the homie @jm___208 of the match. Sponsor would best sponsee, and not that he didn’t already have it but PP definitely earned some respect after. After long match Jordan was offered a break before final vs @joep3g. Asthmatic and terribly old, Queen went directly into match and went for the neck. Earning the organizer of the tournament the winner and this years Community Unity Champ.

A bit of an awkward feeling winning your own tournament; we’d like to formally challenge @pheennee & @anthony_trubiano to a double-elimination-not-gay-if-it’s-a-threeway-game of skate as soon as Phoenix is healed up!

Thank you very much to our sponsors, it truly meant the world to us from coming from our first tournament with zero sponsors to without any hesitation across the board “yeses” from about every single local Idaho skate company (and a few national companies as well @dklskateboarding 🤍) to sponsor our event.

Thank you Tyler the creator of Golgotha for the much needed help, Phoenix for still coming and reffing, and thank you everyone whom showed up. Along with being deathly ill the weak leading up to the tourney, we really were unsure how the turnout would be so we didn’t promote it but one time.

Thank you all for being a part of this.
