Dare to be imperfect,
Dare to be excited when it's not cool,
Dare to share when no one cares,
Dare to exist when no one wants you here,
Dare to live out loud ❤️

Many thanks to @thedot.toronto for having me at their Homeroom: Cabaret

I love minimalism because it quiets something in me.

When everything unnecessary falls away, I can hear more clearly what’s left. And, somehow, what’s left is usually the truth.

When I improvise, I often find myself choosing just two chords and coming back to them over and over again. Not because there aren't more things to say, but because I haven’t finished listening to what they have to tell me.

Like a believer can return to the same prayer every day and still find something new in it—some hidden corner of the soul that wasn’t ready to speak yesterday.

Maybe that’s all we really have to offer as artists: a revelation of the soul.

This song is for those of you who, like me, are prone to overthinking and have trouble finding quiet.

I hope it gives you a few moments of it today.

This is improv no. 4. Tisdale.

Thanks to @ryanharper111 for recording. Always a pleasure working with you.
