Last night was truly a monumental night for EPIC Youth.

At EPIC Grad Party, we honored and prayed over the class of 2026. To my surprise, our seniors made us a signed poster, wrote handwritten notes and cards, and took time during a night meant to celebrate them to show honor and gratitude to us as their youth pastors. It meant more than I can fully put into words!

What makes this graduating class special to me is that many of them were in sixth grade when I first came to People’s Church six years ago. This is the first class I’ve had the privilege of seeing go all the way from 6th grade through 12th grade!

Last night, after reading their cards at home, I was overwhelmed with emotion. Moments like this remind me why faithfulness matters. Ministry is hard sometimes, and building takes time. But there is something incredibly rewarding about staying planted long enough to see lasting fruit and life change happen.

I couldn’t be more proud of the class of 2026! It has truly been an honor to be your youth pastor. Your best days are ahead of you, and I believe the best is yet to come for EPIC Youth!
