Trip Day 5 and 6: I’m loving staying right off of the marina! 🚤 Beautiful and comfortable pool and so many scenic views of the boats on the marina. The terraces were decked out to sit many people to watch and observe. No one was there when I snapped my pics. Ryan, Anna and I went out to the Yard House (Wednesday night) for the first time, with a generous gift card from one of my students! The server, Jeff, was great and told us some dishes that are often chosen and well-liked. Our Brussels sprouts with Gochujang sauce for an appetizer was out of control, sooooo good! My lobster garlic noodles seemed never-ending and addictingly delicious! Brought half home for tomorrow’s dinner!
This morning pictures, the large windowed areas are in the breakfast center! I adore taking pictures of boats in a marina! That’s why I picked this place! I enjoyed another lovely breakfast and came back with leftovers to my room after housekeeping service was done!! I love a well made-up room!! It’s a win for me! 🏆 🌟 #marinalife 🛥️ 🚤

Summer vacation 2026 as a dyslexia tutor! We always have off when our clients get ready to go back to school for 2 weeks. Every year, I try to visit my long-away son, Ryan and his beautiful girlfriend, Anna!! The past 2 years, that visit was to Orlando, Fl. This year it’s in LA, as they moved to Cali in March!
I flew in Saturday evening and we had great sushi and side plates at Crazy Rockin’
Sushi! 🍣 I hung at their place for 2.5 days. It was lovely to hang out with both of them and visit with Chacha, their tiny feline! 🐈 She finally got comfy with me as I left Monday night for my hotel stay! Sorry, I digressed! Pictured: part of our LA tour on Sunday! We started out at this home town old-school diner named Pann’s! It’s been around for 100 years!! The food and the service were top-notch! Shout out to Lorenzo!! Then we drove the distance on Rte #405, well Ryan did; he drove everywhere all day! The highway was 6 lanes on both sides!!!! Surprising, no traffic on Sunday! First, we went to see the Walk of Fame Stars and the Chinese Theatre. I got many pics of the stars and places nearby. Dolly Parton’s Star was surrounded by love, flowers and sweet items. An iconic moment! We listened to Dolly afterwards, as we drove to see the HOLLYWOOD sign! Such fun times with pics! We continued our day… but that will be in the next post! ☀️🌴 ⭐️ 🎥

Anyone else Main as Morton in Smash Bros.?

Morton is my guy. It’s kind of an inside joke with my brother and I. While I was moving I found a piece of Ryan’s art. It looked like concepts for a Morton poster that was supposed to be a gift for me. This gift never materialized, but I loved the idea. Using Ryan’s sketches as a base I created a finished mini poster which became a gift for the both of us.
