This one goes out to the community - THANK YOU! What a wonderful, beautiful SOLD OUT show. You all dressed to impress and it’s clear, we need to do this again!

There is so much love we have for all the amazing artists and friends who worked on this show. Firstly, a warm thank you to @tworatsloving for getting the crowd to dance, laugh and be welcomed into this magical evening.

The stunning stage decorations, from the birch trees to the lanterns, we couldn’t have been done this without our team. Thank you to @aedra.joth @maya_wilkinson11 @uhoh.audrey @_oliviaarts @kc.buzianis @erikka.kim @ceciliahughess

To the dancers @itsjjrabbit @_holly.shirt_ and @littlemiss.ethereal and @danibgomez for bringing together the whole “Over the Garden Wall” dance section, THANK YOU. We’ll need to have you all back on stage…

Thank you to @belle.dorg for bringing our puppet to life!

Thank you to @cynanthompson for instructing over 300 people to dance to a traditional fiddle tune!

The gorgeous concert photos you’re seeing were done by @dillan.spencer , the photography genius who also did our album cover! Thank you Dilly ❤️

A final thank you to the good folks at @gotothecoda !

For all those who didn’t make it, we’ll see you at the next one! That shouldn’t be too far off 🫶 Our album has been out for a week now. Keep streaming “Let the Earth Lay Fallow”, until next time

First tour complete!

So grateful to have the opportunity to travel the continent and play music. This is what I’ve been dreaming of for nearly my whole life, so to have it happen has felt so incredibly rewarding. We played about 10 shows in total, ranging from mountain meadows in BC to packed venues in cities across the country. I want to thank everyone who has supported me thus far, and especially my incredible band members! Looking forward to more stuff like this in the future, as this is just the beginning! Alsooooo… album out September 25th!

it has been a week since the album release. i wanted to give some important thanks.

i want to thank @aedra.joth (@_internetwizard) for her photography and artwork in the album. it was incredible to see you capture P0 through the same lens as i did. you help make my vision come to life and it is an honour and a privilege to have an amazing friend like you.

i want to thank @rfwhyte for reaching out to record the audio and video for our first parkade concert with your equipment, as well as coming back to the parkade a few more times after to record more stuff for the album. in addition, thank you for producing the album and being very attentive to detail. you trusting my vision means a whole lot, and i was very happy with the final product - but most importantly a lovely person to work with during the process of it all.

i want to thank P0 for being an incredibly raw space. as @ryanjkeating said in one of our interviews: “the space acts as a third instrument”, therefore, a third being. P0 does not judge, it absorbs and shoots it right back at you, as long you let it. it also holds things and lets it disintegrate, as long as you let it.

and thank you to all of you for sharing, buying, and listening to the album. please continue to stream, share, and support the album as it is my baby.

one more thing: visit P0. musicians or non-musicians. go there and be. you will surprise yourself.

cheers.

Volume One (Live From P0) by The Meating. 9/10. I was lucky enough to not only meet these great fellas but also play a show with them (in their other band, Thistle). Fantastic musicians. And the musicianship on this album is also great. I don’t know the terminology of the brass stuff as well but it was great. The guitar was almost harp like in its sweeping chords and though never taking the spotlight, was a highlight for me. Very cool. Pure Imagination was perhaps my favorite piece. #themeating #livefromp0 #marcmicu #thistle #ryanwhyte
