Paddo Terrace may look like your typical Victorian terrace from its exterior but stepping inside reveals a modern and light filled renovation by @sandbox.studio and @ryanjonesbuildingco.

The entrance showcases an open staircase made using GoodWood Victorian ash, our range of high-quality, quarter sawn Victorian ash available in a variety of applications. Pairing harmoniously with the clean finishes, natural light and exposed brick wall featured throughout, GoodWood Victorian ash was the optimal choice for Sandbox Studio who were after a native Australian hardwood with a distinct warm tone.

Paddo Terrace was like many other terrace houses in the street, behind the classic two-storey heritage façade was a narrow and dark interior with no connection to the outdoors. Thanks to the team at @sandbox.studio the result is a sleek, light-filled and open space with elements of character from the original home.

The cleverly renovated Sydney dwelling features GoodWood, our range of high-quality, quarter sawn Victorian ash, a popular choice for being consistently blonde, easy to work and available in a variety of applications.

NEW PROJECT FEATURE // Located in the suburb of Paddington, Paddo Terrace is an addition and alterations project built around a Victorian era home. Designed by @sandbox.studio, the result is a sleek, light-filled and open space with elements of character from the original dwelling.

Highlighting the capabilities of a natural palette, the modern home features a GoodWood Victorian ash staircase along with GoodWood battens for a practical yet visually balanced space.

Just completed is the Blackbutt beauty of a staircase in Newtown for @ryanjonesbuildingco. This one has been my favourite to install this year. With everything on show, every little detail counted.

Featuring 42x42 blackbutt screen, 64mm stringer supporting the open side and shadowline in the nosing to top it all off. This staircase is an absolute show stopper and will no doubt be the talking point of this living room.
