To Jonny’s online recovery community, and to every friend and family member who cannot be beside us in Huntington Beach: you are deeply loved, and you have a place with us.
Please join us virtually as we gather by the ocean to remember Jonathan “Jonnyboy G” Gois—to speak his name, honor his fight, celebrate his light, and hold space for the countless lives he touched.

Ceremony begins at 6:15 PM
The first 15 minutes will be a time to arrive, settle in, enjoy some of Jonny’s favorite music, and be together before the ceremony begins.
If you’re joining from home, we invite you to light a candle for Jonny and place a favorite photograph, seashell, or meaningful keepsake beside you. Cameras are warmly welcomed so we can feel your presence with us, wherever you are. Participant microphones and chat will be disabled once the ceremony begins to protect this sacred time from interruptions.

This has been a time of immense grief and responsibility. Please be respectful of Jonny's loved one's time & energy at this moment - we are holding space for everyone's sadness, while managing our own grief, and handling Jonny's affairs at the same time. 💔

Please bring a blanket or beach chair—and extras for anyone who may need one.

Dogs are welcome and encouraged. Jonny’s furry roommates, Oscar, Frankie, and Vinnie, will be there to honor him.

Absolutely no open flames are permitted. Please bring only a battery-operated or flameless candle.

Jonny’s recovery was deeply supported through virtual meetings and an online program. He grew close to that community and spoke often with people around the world because he never wanted anyone, anywhere, to feel alone. Someone recently shared that Jonny helped save his life during one of his darkest moments—another example of Jonny’s compassion, even while facing struggles of his own.

We want family, friends, and members of Jonny’s online recovery community who cannot attend physically to still be part of his service. Livestream instructions will be shared in a separate post.

Following the service, we will gather for remembrance activities, create keepsakes, connect with one another, and share stories and memories. Through our words and the way we live, Jonny’s light will remain visible forever.
