Day 3 — Sunshine, brunch, and a little Hollywood ✨#latepost📸

We start the day with brunch at Hotel Per La poolside, cocktails, good food, and the kind of weather LA always promises but doesn’t always deliver. Clear skies, warm sun… I’m telling you, it was one of the most beautiful LA days I’ve ever experienced.

Quick stop back at Level Los Angeles Downtown to explore the penthouse (because why not), then we get ready for a night out.

West Hollywood was the move. First stop: TomTom and yes, I later learned it’s from Vanderpump Rules 😂
Drinks were good, vibes were fun, and we made friends with Ryan who was hype about being part of the new Vanderpump show. Love that for him. Totally watching to support!

Then dinner at Craig’s full Hollywood scene. Paparazzi outside, celebrities inside, and the food? So good. I finally satisfied my caviar craving. 10/10 experience.

One more round of cocktails at the bar, and then reality sets in… I had a 6am flight 😩

Got back around 1:30am, up at 4:30am but shoutout to me for packing ahead because that 3 hours of sleep was all I had to give.

Flew out of Hollywood Burbank Airport again smooth, easy, no chaos. I will choose Burbank over Los Angeles International Airport every time if I can.

And that’s a wrap.
Here are some of my favorite moments + a little montage from the trip 🤍 Level DTLA Penthouse

Day 2 — Concert Day. 🎶✨

The crew is finally coming together. Karin (with an I 💅🏽), Michelle, and Sam are all arriving and then SURPRISE… my cousin Drea pulls up from her work trip in California to join us. Instant reunion energy. A few of us did this same vibe a couple years ago in Phoenix, so it felt like a full-circle moment.

We kept it easy during the day poolside at Level Los Angeles Downtown. Sun out, wine flowing, snacks on deck… charcuterie, chips, just talking and catching up for hours. The kind of time you don’t realize you needed until you’re in it.

Then it’s time to get ready and listen… we looked GOOD. Outfits on point, energy up, ready for Brandi Carlile at the Kia Forum.

Plot twist: Sam missed his flight 😩 TSA delays got him. So now we’re tracking him while Ubering to the show, hoping he makes it.

We get there in time for the opener, and then Brandi hits the stage and she did NOT disappoint. Her vocals? Unreal. Always. But seeing her in a full arena vs. the smaller venues we’re used to… different experience.

Now let’s talk about the LA crowd… stiff. 😂
Not standing, not moving, just vibing very calmly. Meanwhile, we’re like… are y’all okay?? At one point, a guy behind us told my friends to stop talking which honestly made it funnier.

And then Sam makes it! 🙌🏽
He walks in about 30 minutes into the show, barely missed anything major, and we’re all back together.

Post-concert, we find this random black car (shoutout to LA magic) driver had beer and cocktails ready. Yes, we accepted. Yes, we had a great ride back.

Late night hits and we are STARVING. Ordered Shake Shack like we had never eaten before burgers, fries, shakes… errrrthing. Sat out on the balcony, eating, laughing, decompressing from the night. Perfect ending.
