Post-show catch up… where do I even start?

I’m a happy man. 🙏🏽

2nd Pro Show DOWN! Another first callout in the books during my rookie year as an IFBB Pro.

Every single time we’ve stepped on that stage, we’ve brought a physique that was miles better than the one before it. And that’s what I’m most proud of the progression.

This was only a 5week prep. We had to push, but at the same time, I still lived and enjoyed my life.

During prep, I got to watch two of my best friends people I consider family get married. I flew to the East Coast for one and then the West Coast for the other. I went through Olympia weekend, did photoshoots, helped out wherever I could at my home gym, and still handled everything I needed to handle with work.

And if you know my career in nightlife, you know nightlife and bodybuilding prep are about as opposite as it gets. 😂

But I think that’s exactly what made this prep so enjoyable.
It never felt like work.
I knew what my goals were, and regardless of what I had going on in my life, those goals remained a priority. I was going to find a way to make it happen.

As always, I thank God for continuing to give me the opportunities, strength, and ability to do what I love. And thank you to every friend, fan, family member, sponsor, coach, and person who continues to support me every step of the way. None of this happens alone.

People say that in order to become a champion, you have to live this life 24/7.

I see it a little differently.

To become a champion, you have to learn how to balance your life while still giving the necessary time, effort, and sacrifice to the things that are going to get you where you want to go.
Because there’s more to life than bodybuilding and the people beside you matter just as much as the destination.

You can’t do this alone.

It takes a team.

2 pro shows down. 2 first callouts.
And we’re just getting started. 🏆

A couple weeks later and I’m still laughing about this trip… 😂

When Ari gives you the thumbs up from across the room, you know you’re doing something right.

Back home with my family, old friends, a lot of laughs, and somehow Drea & Ryan trusted me to officiate their wedding. 😂🥂

And because apparently that wasn’t enough for one trip… squeezed in a completely insane 12-hour mission to Mexico just to play a round of golf. 🇲🇽⛳️

Great people. Great memories. A little chaos. Wouldn’t have it any other way. Rev Gamch ✌🏽

I will always be grateful for the way Ryan showed up for me when I needed it most. That made getting to celebrate him and Drea at such an incredible wedding even more special, and I couldn’t have been happier to be there for it but it also had me a bit nervous…

This wedding marked something pretty special for me personally, too.

The people in these pictures, along with a few others, played a major role in helping me through a pretty dark time four years ago when I was struggling and ended up hospitalized. I needed help, support and most of all, accountability. Ryan was there through all of it, especially the accountability part.

Being able to enjoy the wedding, be fully present, and wake up feeling good enough to play tennis the next day is something that simply would not have happened 4+ years ago.

That’s a milestone I don’t take for granted.

I couldn’t be prouder to call you both friends and family. Wishing Ryan, Drea and Presley a lifetime of good health, great memories and genuine happiness. You all deserve it.
