POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Leonora in the Morning Light (@leonoramovie), a new film, sheds light on Leonora Carrington’s life. From her early beginnings as a rebel in an English convent school, to when she found a haven in Mexico City - she nurtured deep friendships with fellow women artists and was a founding member of Mexico’s women’s liberation movement.

Art historian and author of ‘The Story of Art Without Men’, Katy Hessel speaks to lead actress Olivia Vinall and co-director Lena Vurma in celebration (and in awe) of Leonora Carrington in Violet 24.

#MoodboardMonday Valentine’s Day 🌹💘 one of the hardest moodboards to edit, there were so many fun looks and cakes and flowers… Anyway, going for a slightly kitschy 60s meets 70s meets 80s vibe with a heavy dose of camp—as any good Valentine’s Day wedding should have ♥️

Since we’re all sharing 2016 💭

- 18 year old me did not get accepted to her dream university, chose not to study (yet), and decided to give modelling a real shot instead

- Travelling and working full-time while living out of a suitcase in Barcelona, Milan, London, Paris, Madrid and Rome

- Had to cut my hair to shoulder-length layers to look more “edgy” and hated every bit of it

- Fashionweek after fashionweek, staying in the craziest model apartments

- Was named as one of the new faced who rocked the fashion season by @i_d & selected as daily duo by @modelsdot

- Vlogging my travels so family and friends back home could see what I was up to

- Mom collected all the magazines and newspapers that I was in

- Got my US visa and moved to New York City, decided to add another gap year ;)

☆Yu had another opportunity to explore #HongKong fashion at @hkfashionfest this year again! The most exciting part was @hongkongfashioncouncil x @wwd gala dinner. Some of top influencers appeared with iconic pieces from Asian designers just showcased during week on red carpet!
Yu was wearing 2006SS Balenciaga btw! Wearing archives on red carpet became a trend too.
Yu will post about other events tomorrow! ✌️
