POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Next week marks Refugee Week in the UK, and in order to celebrate the resilience and creativity of people seeking asylum we created a special episode for @blended with @xkateferdinand. ❤️

Speaking to Syrian filmmaker and activist @waadalkateab, the episode covers how war and conflict cause you to build families beyond blood.

Make sure to check out this powerful conversation wherever you get your podcasts. 🎧

All we can say is…..preach 🙌🏼🙌🏼

We were so happy to chat with our friend @clarebournephysio who is a pelvic floor physiotherapist, Mum to two little ones and all round lovely lady!

Clare has been incredibly honest about her experience of prolapse on social media so we listen to her story. She really brings such a unique perspective as a healthcare professional and patient. A must listen for everyone, so many pearls of wisdom in this one 🌟

Thank you to @kidstart.co.uk for sponsoring this episode. Swipe right to find out what they are all about!

A couple of weeks ago, all three members of @themedicmumpodcast family (plus our producers incredible wife and our number one fan 🥰) were fiiiiinally able to meet! And what an evening it was 🥳

Our podcast was born out of a realisation that parents were really struggling during the pandemic. Having had our own second babies in the first lockdown, we wanted to put our regular motherhood chats out there for all to hear in the hope that it would help people feel less alone.

So we set to work recording and have built up almost 30 episodes so far chatting all things parenthood but also touching on various medical topics that can be so confusing to navigate as a parent. We’ve also gone deep and shared our collective experiences of being an allergy parent, going through fertility treatment and battling postnatal depression and birth trauma.

It’s been hard work and lots of late nights but we are super proud of what we have achieved so far and it’s lovely to see our baby (the podcast!) and #tmmp community grow. We love connecting with you guys on here and are so grateful for each and every person that tunes in week after week to listen to us ramble 🤪

We are so excited to have made it past 30,000 downloads so far. This is just the beginning! 💜 Have you listened in yet??

Today is my last mini episode before my maternity leave. Just a little update of where I’m at in preparation for baby girls arrival & a look back at the series 👶🏼🤍

Wow, it’s been a long series and I’ve met so many amazing people along the way 💫

For a really long time I wanted to start this but just didn’t have the confidence, It’s only sometimes when you take a minute to reflect you can see how far you have come.

Thank you for all of your continued support, it really does mean the world to me! Now time to rest & reset for baby 🤍

Chatting to a child psychologist - what every parent needs to hear!

This week we chat to Dr Martha, a psychologist, Mum and all round lovely person @dr.martha.psychologist. We loved this discussion around the pressures of parenthood, how long your child needs to connect with you each day as well as discussing tantrums towards the end of the episode.

As you can tell from this clip, this was a hugely insightful chat filled with lots of lightbulb moments. We really hope you enjoy listening!

This is a question that comes up the most at this time of year! Dr Steph is here with a short quick summary of the things you need to know about coughs and colds.

**Please note - this is intended to be a helpful general guide to give you things to look out for & not individualised advice. Don’t hesitate to consult your doctor if you are ever worried. Please remember a temp or cough or change in taste/sense of smell warrants a PCR test

It’s been a rough couple of years but especially as parents, the news around the evolving COVID variant could be triggering.

@drpunamkrishan does a quick simplified summary of everything you need to know about the Omicron variant in the run up to Christmas. We hope you find this helpful and if you have any questions then pop them below or DM us x

I’m more introverted than ever and going to @podcastshowldn made me a little anxious. But it was good to buck up with some good people. These are just three of my brothers in arms in the audio industry (there’s more of us just like Wu-Tang). I’m grateful that I get to share this journey with @ryannile_, @kodakakeem and @dargzmusic.
