We’re honored and proud to announce that the 2024 Afromaha Founders Award🏆 recipient is our very own Mrs. Judy Kiagiri @wakiagiri 🔥🇰🇪🫶🏾

Let’s celebrate Judy on Saturday December 07, 2024 | 5PM-10Pm at @thevenue.highlander | tix https://aeg2024.eventbrite.com

🌍In 2018 Judy Kiagiri co-founded Afromaha with current organization leader Joubel Teko @joubelino . During her time with Afromaha, Judy built a solid organizational foundation and helped to secure many partnerships and sponsorships to grow the festival, fashion show and other activities.

🇰🇪As a proud Kenyan in Nebraska, she has always wanted to help make an impact in her local community while also sharing the beauty of all African cultures.

💡📈Judy has recently stepped back from running day to day operations for Afromaha and we wanted to thank her for her efforts to build the solid foundation. Omaha is a more representative and vibrant community because of the sacrifices she has made.

😇She has always supported others to elevate all endeavors and to share all African cultures. We know we will still see her at many events and also on the salsa dance floor. Thank you Judy! 🫶🏾🖤🫶🏾
