I just came here to party

POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Shoreline Shredder came out swinging.

Race 1 of BASP brought the energy to start off the season and reminded us pretty quickly why we love cyclocross season so much.

Fast racing, plenty of heckling, tacos, people hanging out in the grass, and a whole lot of familiar faces back together again. From the first race of the morning to the last one of the afternoon, you all made Shoreline Shredder a pretty great way to kick off the 2026 BASP season.

Thank you to everyone who came out to race, cheer, volunteer, bring the family, ring a cowbell, or just spend the day with us. The community is what makes these races what they are, and Sunday was a good reminder of that.

A huge thank you to our super photographers @gene_torno and @mybucketsgottaholeinit for being out there capturing the racing, suffering, smiles, and questionable cyclocross decisions throughout the day.

And a big thank you to @huckracing and @huckbikes for putting the work in and helping us host Shoreline Shredder to get this BASP season started right.

But we're just getting warmed up.

Race 2 is already happening THIS WEEKEND.

Next stop is Vallejo Velocity on September 27. If Shoreline got you excited for more racing, get yourself registered and come do it all over again with us in Vallejo.

One down. Seven more chances to race bikes around in circles with your friends.

BASP is back.

GGP CX FTW.

A few images from the summer series finale put in by @obf415cc and @swellbicycles … how lucky are we to have this. Thanks to all who contribute, ride, organize and cheer.

I brought my little camera with just a 28mm lens this time. Fun to explore the light and dust with a different set up not intended for action sports.

Great to see you all of you legends.

Shot these at the @swellbicycles @obf415cc Equinox CX race earlier this year. I don’t usually shoot races, but gave myself a Matthew Barney “Drawing Restraint” style challenge that day: one fixed 35mm prime, no zoom. Not the lens you’d pick for racing, but it forced me to move my body a lot, run around the race course like a crazy person, get low, get close, chase the action instead of sitting back with a telephoto. A few faves below. (The tiny IG format doesn’t do it justice, but I imagine some of these horizontal landscapey ones as a giant print that you could immerse yourself in.)

Pre-riding the course @race24kelheim a couple of weeks ago with the crew of @radhaus_sf Thanks for the amazing adventure in Bavaria!!

Years of shared miles and post ride beers, now memories made halfway across the world!

Somehow @radhaus_sf pulled off the ultimate trip to Bavaria with @radhaus_racing and friends. The homemade local food and stay at @ritterschaenke_burg_randeck were amazing, and riding on Bavarian rolling hills and gravel followed by crisp Helles, brewery & castle tours and long hang outs…all of it was pure magic!

Endless thanks to @radhaus_sf for bringing it full circle for us to all experience together❤️🍻🚲🇩🇪
