HEY USA FRIENDS!...Not About Me is now screening as part of the International Social Change Film Festival 2021 (CHANGEFEST!)

Tickets are available online now to anyone in the United States (sorry, Canada…).

Not About Me is a Canadian production that unfolds in Haiti but it reflects personal experiences and humanitarian efforts around the world -- where good intentions can have devastating consequences if they are not informed by the people we are trying to help. With a rare, decade’s trove of intimate personal footage, our film weaves one young woman’s candid, sometimes misguided, journey from a naive orphanage volunteer to a wiser ally working alongside Haitians who have helped her learn how to do better.
