These last few weeks have held a lot. Most importantly, they’ve held LOVE, FAITH, and the sense of community that can only come from a hometown like Soda Springs, Idaho. I want to thank everyone who has sent love and prayers our way… we have felt every single one of them and will continue to ask for them. Mom is a trooper… one of the strongest humans I’ve ever known in my life, one of the most loving… and now more than ever one of the bravest. We love you @lindasandersanderson. Thanks to her amazing Healing Partners, from our family, friends and people who don’t even know her. Thank you so much to Caribou Medical Center, and Heritage… we are truly grateful. This is a journey, and as it says in this one of her favorite songs, we will continue to take things, “ One Day at a Time….” And we will absolutely keep taking all of that love & those prayers that you have been sharing. Hug your loved ones today, every moment is precious.💜 Brandon, Tia, Ty & Tev… thank you so much for everything you all did to allow this last week to work out for me to be with her. You’re the best family I could ever ask for.🙏🏽 #letsgomom

Leaving our Ida-home is never easy, but every day is filled with beautiful memories… I didn’t catch pictures of all of them, but they are in our hearts forever. Hold your loved ones close when you can, and then when you can’t, hold them close in your heart. So grateful for the time we got to spend with mom and our family… loved that I still feel Dad everywhere we go.💛

Last night was Magical! It was the very first musical I saw at the Pantages… a Long time ago, right after Evelyn Twiss exposed our class to the brilliant book by Victor Hugo when I was in High School. Like so many others Les Miserables left an imprint on my 💙 forever. Last night @brandonjarrettmusic took me back to see it again for the first time since as an early birthday gift . It was the best gift ever. Then,we walked out the doors of the theatre and ran straight into our good friends @drjayupland & family Neal & Geneva Wood! Life is just really cool sometimes.🎼 oh, and we also got the pleasure of seeing @uwishuwereamac 🙌🏼 What a night!

"This is the loveliest place and the best people under the heavens"

Last night we wrapped Nauvoo. Tears were shed, mike's and costumes turned in, staging being dismantled and bags have been packed. But nothing will erase what Nauvoo has given us, that we will take with us.

Mary Ann Pratt: 1809-1891
My 6th cousin! How incredible it has been to portray her. Wife to Parley P Pratt and a huge support to him, joining him on multiple missions, joining him in jail for 3 months with their children and remaining unflinching in her faith in the restored gospel.

Anna Fordham: 1811-1881
Wife to Elijah Fordham, who was raised from near death by the Prophet Joseph Smith through the power of the priesthood. How amazing to know that miracles have not ceased.

And of course, shout out to my husband's; Paul, Alex and Ryan, my step-son, Boyd and all the Fordham and Pratt kids who have been such a joy to love.

"I go because my master calls"

Tonight was the final performance of the British Pageant in Nauvoo. I had the privilege of being able to play Sarah Ashton, a composite character based on the real accounts of many people in the British isles in the 1800's, who left everything behind to answer the call from God to gather in Nauvoo. I love Sarah; her strength, faith and courage, and I will hope that I can be more like her in my own life. So that when God calls, I will answer in faith and know that He will provide.

Biggest shout out to Boyd, Sam, Ruby, Alice, Landon, Aurie and Cameron for being the best siblings, grandpa Mike, mama Bonnie and of course to Ryan for being the most incredible scene partner and father. And every other person and family whom it wouldn't have worked without.
