this post contains hope. 💌

hope that the dreams you’ve carried since you were a child are carrying you, too.

hope that you find people who love you exactly as you are.

hope that genuine friendships exist, and that the people meant for your life continue choosing it.

hope that time doesn’t always mean goodbye. sometimes it means growth, healing, and finding your way back to one another with deeper understanding and a truer kind of love.

hope that kindness is louder than fear.

hope that what is meant for you will never pass you by.

and hope that one day you’ll find yourself standing in the middle of a dream you once whispered to yourself, realizing it was listening all along.

at 14 years old, i dreamed about performing at the muny. this summer, that dream became my reality.

there are no words big enough to thank every artist, every crew member, every musician, every wardrobe hand, every stage manager, every person behind the scenes, and every audience member who made this experience what it was. you reminded me why we tell stories. you reminded me that joy is contagious, that community changes us, and that art has the power to bring strangers together and leave them better than it found them.

my heart leaves st. louis fuller than it arrived. 🤎

thank you, the muny, for changing my life.

this post contains hope. and today, i get to say that hope was right.

happy closing south pacific. 🌺
