The last recap for the year will be in two parts. This is part 1.

Of the 30,000+ shots I took this year, these are my favourite action shots. The bread and butter so to speak, mixed in with some emotion. These shots are the reason I specialise in Sports Photography. When people try to hide their emotion as much as possible, it seeps out through their actions and movements in their sport. This is where the photographer comes in. To capture those moments as much as possible.

It was extremely difficult to narrow 30k down to 20, but these are my absolute favourites.

As this is the last post of the year I would also like to take this moment to acknowledge all the people around these sports that keep them going and give these athletes a platform to perform on. Whilst there might be 10 people on a court, 144 people in a golf tournament or 2 people on a tennis court, there are hundres behind the scenes that are working tirelessly to make these events happen and elevate them to another a level for both the players and spectators. So truly, thankyou. I look forward to seeing you all again in the new year and meeting even more.
