We all know going into this journey that it is a long hard rode that takes an enormous amount of confidence, grit, resilience, heart, dedication and hard work. I’m sure I’m missing a few adjectives. Many know that @rydercolvin could not make qualifiers in 2020 because he was recovery from surgery for a torn labrum. 2021 he made it through qualifiers and week after regionals dislocated the same shoulder (torn labrum again-and then some). So he worked hard with his PT to get as much strength before we headed out to hit some ruts on our way to @lorettalynnmx While training about a week before the race he dislocated his shoulder again. That left him in a sling for another week. Still determined to charge on we made our way to the ranch. Practice went well. His second race on Tuesday he got an awesome start and was running 7th when he over jumped a triple and hit a soft spot. Went down-shoulder stayed in but he knocked himself a little silly. Ultimately he was cleared to ride the rest of the week but with all that had already happened and a series of go-downs it was just too much. Many others would have turned around and gone home but he was 💯% in it. I know that all these obstacles will make him a better person in life. I couldn’t be more proud of @rydercolvin for going for it! Love you Rydman!! 💙💪🏻👍🏻✊🏻#️⃣7️⃣2️⃣
