THE 2026 SIDELINE SPORTS SUPREME TEAM ⚾️🏆

From State Champions to District MVPs, the 2026 Sideline Sports Supreme Team is absolutely loaded.

We started with our postseason superlatives and worked our way to the biggest honor of them all, our Supreme Team MVP.

🏆 Coach of the Year
Coach Brady Webb, New Home

🔥 Pitcher of the Year
Bayler Schilling, Canyon
12-0 with a 1.62 ERA, helping lead the Eagles to a share of the district championship and the Regional Semifinals.

💪🏻 Utility Player of the Year
Noah Vasquez, West Plains
7-3 with a 2.00 ERA while hitting over .400 with 5 home runs and 34 RBI. His complete-game victory in the Regional Finals helped swing the series and send the Wolves to the State Semifinals.

🧤 Defensive Player of the Year
Ryder Starkey, New Home
An absolute vacuum at shortstop with elite range, while also hitting .529, leading the state with 74 runs scored and driving in 59 runs for the State Champion Leopards.

💣 Offensive Player of the Year
Wade McConnell, Bushland
At 6’6”, 250 pounds, McConnell was one of the most dominant bats in Texas. He hit .579, led the state with 68 RBI and 23 doubles, and tied for seventh with 11 home runs.

👑 Supreme Team MVP
Hunter Burrell, New Home
Burrell finished 2nd in the state in RBI, 2nd in doubles and 3rd in hits, but his true value went far beyond the box score. He was a wall behind the plate, managed the pitching staff with poise and provided the steady presence that helped lead New Home to the first State Championship in school history.

And now, we are proud to unveil the 2026 Sideline Sports Supreme Team in its entirety.

These players delivered championship moments, dominant performances and unforgettable seasons across West Texas.

Congratulations to every athlete selected to the 2026 Sideline Sports Supreme Team! ⚾️🔥🏆

Thank you Baseball. For as long as I can remember, you’ve been all I’ve ever known, and letting go is the hardest thing I’ve ever had to do.
I’ll never forget the memories I’ve made, the lessons I’ve learned, and the people I’ve met along the way. State champs 2026🥇 Best way I could’ve ended my career. #14 out.
