POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Today, on V-J Day, we commemorate the 81st anniversary of the end of World War II and honor the men and women who served, sacrificed, and helped bring the war to an end.

We recently had the incredible honor of interviewing Freeman Johnson, one of the last remaining Pearl Harbor survivors. On December 7, 1941, Freeman was aboard USS St. Louis at Pearl Harbor when the Japanese attack changed his life and the course of history.

Nearly four years later, on September 2, 1945, he was on the USS Iowa in Tokyo Bay as the Japanese surrender was formally signed aboard USS Missouri.

Freeman witnessed the beginning of America’s war in the Pacific and was there when it finally came to an end.

We are so grateful that Freeman shared his story with us, so that generations to come can hear it from someone who was there and better understand why it’s so important that we never forget.

Today, we are thinking of Freeman and all the men and women who stepped forward when their country and the world needed them most, fought to defeat tyranny, and helped preserve the freedoms we have today.

Their stories are not just history.

They are our responsibility to remember and carry forward. 🇺🇸 ❤️

This weekend, we had the absolute honor of interviewing trailblazer and aviation legend Nell “Mickey” Bright, the last living WASP pilot from WW2.

Our team was proud to represent @pearlharboraviationmuseum and support the mission of preserving Nell’s incredible story. Her legacy is sure to inspire future generations and encourage aspiring aviators to pursue their dreams.

Keep ’em flying!

Nell, you are a true American hero and legend whose courage and perseverance helped pave the way for women and future leaders in aviation. 🇺🇸✈️

Day one of the Best Ranger Competition is a wrap, or it is for us. The competitors have put in 28 combined miles of rucking, running, swimming, farmer Carrie’s, obstacle courses, and several other events that are technical and demand focus and attention.

Those competing in the BRC possess a grit that few will ever know let alone possess. My hat is off to all those competing. They are still pushing and will be going through the night!

“My grandfather always dreamed of writing his memoirs. He lived a remarkable life and wanted to pass on his stories and wisdom, especially to his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. But when Parkinson’s took away his ability to write, that dream nearly slipped away. I sat him down, recorded his story, and preserved his voice for generations. The result moved our entire family. Seeing how powerful it was, I realized this is something everyone deserves. That’s how Enduring Legacy was born.”
