The 2nd Annual Chairman’s Brunch brought together some of the most influential leaders, operators, entrepreneurs, and changemakers in New Jersey cannabis under one roof.

Powerful conversations. Real connections. New opportunities. Authentic relationships.

Every year, this event gets stronger because the people in this industry continue to show up, support one another, and invest in the future we’re building together.

Looking around the room, I saw business owners making deals, professionals expanding their networks, new entrepreneurs finding mentors, and industry leaders sharing wisdom with the next generation.

That’s exactly what the New Jersey Cannabis Chamber of Commerce was created to do.

We’re not just building a Chamber.
We’re building a movement.

I debated on whether or not I should just mix these into a “life update” post. Then I paused. And I caught myself, doing it again! Not giving myself the proper credit for my achievements.

So, it gets its own post. 💚💫

To sum this up and keep it short and sweet, I’m so grateful! I’m so proud of myself! But more importantly, a little impressed at how far I’ve come mentally, physically, emotionally, and spiritually. WITH GOD. And my super support system, I found strength.

When one endures trauma back to back, celebrating yourself or for others, feeling joy, and laughter are some of the first things you forget how to do. I am happy to say I have hope for the future! Whew 😮‍💨
I’ve always been passionate about cannabis, it has been instrumental in my mental health journey, and just learning about my brain and my place in the world.
With this degree, vow to never stop learning, to always seek research, to always advocate for those in the industry and patients alike.

I cried while making this reel… truly. This past year has filled me with such overwhelming gratitude—gratitude for the moments, the connections, the community, the authenticity, the growth… and for every single one of you. I feel beyond blessed.

Being a small business owner means getting to be a tiny part of your lives—watching your kids grow, celebrating your victories, hearing stories from your adventures, offering hugs on the hard weeks, noticing the fresh haircuts, and sharing all the little moments in between. It’s the greatest honor.

Thank you to my team, my family, my friends, my customers, and the beautiful souls who support from near and far. Life is infinitely better with you in it. My gratitude has no limits, and I hope you all feel that.

For over five years, Gem has been a place for people to show up exactly as they are, wherever they’re at in their journey. It’s been my privilege to hold that space, and I hope to continue creating environments where people feel safe, seen, and embraced.
