I’ve never thought this season would turn out how it did. There were lots of highs and we finally made it back to state. Unfortunately things don’t like to stay consistent, and it’s not easy when you know you can’t control it. There’s bigger and better things to come and I try to make sure I remember that. Although we were looking for a podium finish we’re taking the disappointment and taking it and using it to fuel for next year. Can’t say I’m the same “beast” for xc but we’ll carry the mentality. #muxc #snrszn #state #wiaariged

Impossible to find the right words for this one. Absolutely heartbreaking way to end my high school career. This sport is cruel and unforgiving but for some twisted reason I love it more than anything. I’m so proud of how far I’ve come the last few years, and I don’t have a single regret about where I ended up. It’s been an honor to compete with an incredible group of teammates, coaches, supporters, friends, and brothers for the last four years. It kills me to end in failure, but I WILL be back, and better than ever. This is just the beginning.
