🎥 DSD On The Map: Summer Recap! 🌎✨

Before we share the photos, enjoy this video recap of some of the incredible places dance took our dancers this summer!

We are so proud of the way these dancers represented Dawn’s School of Dance wherever their summer adventures took them.

🖤 First, Anna spent her summer immersing herself in world-class training, beginning at the Broadway Dance Center Summer Youth Intensive in New York City before traveling to Southampton, Massachusetts, to train at the prestigious CLI Conservatory, where she continued to refine her artistry and technique alongside dancers from across the country.

🖤 Then, Rylee took the stage in Wilkesboro, North Carolina for her final appearance as Dance Machine Teen Miss Dance 2026. She performed her beautiful solo, participated in the opening number with the other title holders, and closed an unforgettable year with a heartfelt & touching farewell speech before passing her title on to the next titleholder.

🖤 Finally, Charli spent two weeks in New York City training at the Joffrey School of Ballet Jazz & Contemporary Summer Intensive, where she had the opportunity to take classes from exceptional instructors and immerse herself in the city’s vibrant dance community & ended in a performance that showcased all she learned during her time there.

We love seeing our dancers seek out new opportunities, challenge themselves, and continue growing as artists. Your DSD family is so proud of each of you! ❤️

First time not being a dancer at titles, but it still deserves a post! 🤗
This post is important to me because I’m so proud of all of my friends (or who I call family) for all the amazing things they do! 🙃
This program really is one that builds relationships, relationships I’ll never give up! 🥰

Already counting down until next year…

This weekend reminds me every year why it’s my favorite weekend of the year. It’s so much more than a title competition it’s the friendships, encouragement, and memories that make it unforgettable. Forever thankful for the people who make this weekend feel like home, my heart is so full, and I can’t wait to see what next year holds.

One year. Countless memories. Endless gratitude. 🤍

I still can’t believe my year as America’s Petite Miss Dance has come to an end. This year has been one of the greatest blessings of my life. It has given me unforgettable memories, incredible friendships, and so many opportunities that I will always cherish.

This journey helped me grow, taught me so much, and reminded me how special it is to do what you love while making a difference. Every competition, performance, laugh, and moment along the way has meant more to me than I could ever put into words.

To everyone who supported me throughout this journey—thank you. Your kindness, encouragement, and love made this year everything I could have hoped for and more.

While I’m saying goodbye to this title, this isn’t goodbye. The memories, friendships, and love I’ve found in this family will stay with me forever. Thank you for the best year. I’ll treasure it for the rest of my life. 🤍✨

What a year it has been 💖

Watching Khairee represent the title of America’s Petite Dance 2026 has been such a joy. From what felt like an endless number of competitions and appearances nearly every weekend, she has carried herself with grace, kindness, and a genuine love for dance.

I couldn’t be more grateful to @dancemachinepro for this opportunity, and I couldn’t be more proud of the incredible titleholder Khairee has been. This year has been one we’ll never forget. ✨

I could not have imagined a better nationals to end my career as a competitive dancer! I received the highest scoring senior elite solo, senior elite duet, senior competitive small group, and I had many more amazing placements throughout the week! But beyond the scores, I’m so proud of the performances that my team put on the stage and the great memories that we built together.

Thank you to Turn Out Dance Academy for giving me amazing opportunities and training throughout the years and for never ending support and love! Thank you to my family for endlessly supporting me throughout my journey, even when it wasn’t easy! Thank you to Dance Machine ANDC for an amazing last competition that gave such a sweet ending to a very important chapter in my life! Thank you to all of my teammates for being my best friends and biggest fans from helping me get new skills to cheering me on backstage! Lastly, thank you God for something so amazing that it makes it hard to say goodbye!
