That’s a wrap on fashion business with @vogue_college !! I’m so grateful to have spent the past month studying fashion business in London and learning more about an industry that I’ve always been so passionate about. This experience gave me the opportunity to step outside of the classroom and see the fashion industry from a completely different perspective. Throughout the program, I learned about fashion marketing, communications, branding, PR, and the business decisions that go into building and sustaining a fashion brand. I had the opportunity to work on creative projects, develop campaign ideas, hear from industry professionals, and collaborate with students from different backgrounds who share the same passion for fashion. One of my favorite parts was being able to take what I’ve learned in school and apply it to real fashion brands and industry scenarios. It challenged me to think more creatively and strategically, and gave me a much better understanding of the different career paths within fashion. Beyond everything I learned, I’m leaving London with new friendships, connections, experiences, and a much clearer idea of the kind of career I want to build for myself. This month pushed me outside of my comfort zone in so many ways, and I’m incredibly grateful that I got to experience it. Thank you to everyone who made these four weeks so meaningful. I’m excited to take everything I learned with me into whatever comes next. I’d especially like to thank my instructors @_kim_coleman_ and @alexurerlex. These amazing women were so inspiring and created a passionate and focused educational environment. I’m also so grateful to @millytritton for taking the time to share your experience and perspective with us. Your advice and insight gave me so much to think about as I continue exploring a career in fashion business. Until next time Vogue. xxx 🤍
