Late post, but I felt led to share.
I’m incredibly blessed to have had the opportunity and privilege to run track at both the D3 and D1 levels. I’m thankful for the unwavering support from my parents, family, coaches, teammates, and peers throughout this journey.

Most of all, I thank God for the gift of being the athlete I am. None of this would have been possible without Him. He’s opened doors and made things happen in my life that I never thought were possible.

While I didn’t accomplish everything I set out to during my athletic career, I remain forever grateful. Just as we praise Him on the mountaintop, we must also praise Him in the valleys.

Even though I didn’t win all the meets or championships I dreamed of, I grew in my faith, and more importantly, I had the opportunity to lead others to Christ. That’s the greatest victory of all.

To any athlete out there chasing your goals, trust God’s timing, lean on your faith, and remember your identity isn’t found in medals, but in Christ. Though my time competing is done, I’m excited to see how God will use everything I’ve learned in this next season of life.
