I don’t think I can put the last two weeks into words. Chogoria, Kenya touched a piece of my heart in ways I never expected. Getting to spend time in foreign environments allowed me to grow as a nurse but also as an individual. The kindness, compassion, generosity and hospitality that was given to us was unlike anything I’ve ever experienced. I can’t wait to reflect my gratitude through my practice. I look forward to what the future holds for each and everyone of us🤍

Asante Sana Chogoria

I left a piece of my heart in Chogoria, Kenya. 🇰🇪

The last two weeks have changed me in ways I’m still trying to put into words. I’ve learned so much—not just about healthcare but about what community looks like. The hospitality we received was unlike anything I’ve ever experienced. This experience pushed me outside my comfort zone, challenged my perspective and reminded me what’s really important. I feel so blessed to have this opportunity and I have an endless amount of gratitude for the people who made it so special.

Asante sana, Kenya!
