“How good and pleasant it is when God’s people live together in unity!” Psalm 133:1

If I had to describe the trip in one verse, it would be that. God turned this team into family within a couple days. @aemcclay23 said it before we left home and we all felt it when we got there. It feels like home in the Dominican. From Sunday service to youth group on Wednesday and simply just working with the @ibemrd team, it is evident that we serve the same God with the same goals. There is no language barrier when it comes to praising God.

I thank God for the opportunity to serve in the DR and how He enabled us to get to and from safely. Thank you to all who prayed and helped fund this trip. It means more than you know❤️

“Therefore, my dear friends, as you have always obeyed—not only in my presence, but now much more in my absence—continue to work out your salvation with fear and trembling, for it is God who works in you to will and to act in order to fulfill his good purpose. Do everything without grumbling or complaining.”
‭‭ •Philippians‬ ‭2‬:‭12‬-‭14‬ ‭‬‬•

This trip taught me discernment. This trip taught me patience. This trip brought me friendships and it brought me so much closer to God. God worked in so many wondrous ways and the unity of this group shined through day and day again. I am so grateful for what it brought me and I will pray and work for that to not all be lost as I continue my life back home. Nothing will ever compare to this week. Praise God.
