What a fun surprise it was to see my dear friend Ryleigh Jackson, Miss Maryland's Teen 2022, at the 2027 Miss Montgomery County Pageant today. After attending a conservatory in New York, Ryleigh is soon embarking upon an adventure as a dancer with Royal Caribbean. I thought she had already set sail abroad, so I shrieked with glee when I saw her. Ryleigh, I am so proud of you! You certainly embody SUCCESS, one of the points of the crown. I can't wait to hear all about your travels. #FriendsMakeMeHappy #MissMarylandsTeen2022 #Reunited

Lunch in Bryant Park never misses #NYC

Taking my girl for the BEST lobstahhhh roll there ever was🦞

College Reunions are the best. So many years in the making on this one.

Lots of auditions. Booked, got close, radio silence. If you’ve been doing this long enough you know the deal. But I’ve learned to have more fun with this process; bigger swings, more freedom, more nuance, more ME.

Lots of new book sales. THANK YOU x 💯 If you want to get a copy it’s at the 🔗 in my Bio, and on Amazon.

Taught 1,000s of dancers and 100s of classes this summer. Thank you ladies for the asst.💫❤️

One of the few pics I got at @nrgdanceproject Nationals. #IYKYK those weeks are wild. Always inspired by these ladies.

Sweet moments & celebrations with friends.

NYC Nights💫💫

Got to teach at so many studios I love. Didn’t take enough pics of it.

Bathroom selfies before hitting the airport…again. Get it in when you can fit it in.

The sky needs no intro 🌅

finishing CY5, i felt like i wasn’t quite ready to leave yet. luckily, i got to stay another 5 weeks and be a summer assistant alongside some of the most amazing faculty and staff. i will say, it was the fastest 5 weeks, yet the most fulfilling.

growing up as a convention dancer, i had the chance to be inspired by so many incredible assistants from such a young age. to have had the opportunity to hopefully be that source of inspiration to many other dancers who share the same dedication to the craft as i do was so heartwarming.

leaving this place is so bittersweet, but knowing that i’m leaving with so much gratitude and fulfillment is a feeling like no other. thank you to all of the wonderful teachers that allowed me to share the space with them. and @cliconservatory, thank you for trusting me to be an assistant this summer in rooms with such amazing choreographers and artists. my heart is so full 🤍🤍

The last 5 weeks I did not do alone. Thank you to all the assistants! Thank you for your talent, artistry, work ethic, consistency and smiles. Thank you for making me laugh and for the reminder that I need to archive my old posts 🤭.
