DAY 1 of being a guest artist in Modesto California ✈️💅🏼🤍

A little behind-the-scenes of my first day tattooing out here!

For everyone asking how California even came about — my friend Cort and her husband live out here, which is what originally brought me to the area and eventually led to people asking if I’d ever take appointments while I was in town.

We started the morning with coffee… which was an interesting experience and definitely a story for another day🫠😵‍💫

Then it was straight into a full 12-hour tattoo day. I knew it was going to be a long one, so I was fully prepared — I just quickly realized that actually remembering to film content while working all day is a whole separate job 😂

So day one footage is a little limited, but I’ll do better bringing you guys along for day two.

One of the coolest parts of this job is realizing that it is so much more than “just tattoos” and I don’t ever want my clients to forget that or how special each client is to me🥹

I originally met these two because I tattooed her name on him while they were engaged, and somehow that tattoo appointment eventually turned into an invitation to watch them say “I do.” 🤍

They had the coolest guest book literally a piano everyone could sign.. so of course I wrote, “To forever love that lasts longer than tattoos even” (verbiage may sound off hehe I was nervous to write on such a beautiful piano)

There are so many people who come in and out of my tattoo chair, and every single one becomes part of my story in their own little way. Being trusted with something so permanent is already special, but getting to witness pieces of their lives beyond the studio makes this job even sweeter

Such a beautiful wedding and such a special reminder of why I love what I do. Thank you again to the Labelle’s for including me on your special day 🤍
