My biggest advice for travel ball orgs, high school teams, colleges, or even players training on your own… TRACK YOUR TRAINING METRICS
The information you get when you actually track stuff can be unbelievably valuable. Why?
In 2 years training 4 times per week, you can accumulate ~200 training sessions. If each of those sessions has a measured output in a meaningful exercise that improved, you will turn yourself into an absolute beast. Unfortunately, most kids don’t do that. Most programs don’t do that either. They just rinse and repeat the same exercises, the same routines, nothing that moves the needle.

Are you a baseball player who struggled with consistency last season?
A big part of changing that starts now in October.

What is “power training” ?
If your goal is to improve power output on the field, your training can either address force production or high velocity output. I’m not too big a fan of in the “middle” kinda fast, but not really fast movements. #training #speed #strength #power #rotationalpower

“POV YOU MADE THIS ONE CHANGE AND YOU SET RECORDS IN YOUR TRIPLE A SEASON” would be a much more algorithm-rewarding title for my latest interview with @ryrythisguy
But that’s BS. He had a monster season, and became one of the most consistent players in all professional baseball thanks to:
-His outlook on the game
-Years of experience
-How he takes care of his brain, nervous system and everything on a daily basis
No one trick did it

The 2026 season was one for the history books. ☄️🏆

From record-breaking individual performances and career milestones to a franchise-record 14-game winning streak, the Comets put together a season to remember. Oklahoma City claimed the Pacific Coast League second-half title, battled through the postseason to capture the PCL Championship, and capped it all off by winning the first Triple-A National Championship in franchise history.

Along the way, players made their MLB debuts, delivered unforgettable defensive plays, earned league-wide recognition and helped make this one of the most memorable seasons in the Bricktown era.

Take a look back at the players, performances and defining moments that made the 2026 season so special with the link in the bio!

Thank you to Tinker Air Force Base for welcoming some of our players and giving them the opportunity to learn more about the incredible work being done to support our active service members, veterans and their families across Central Oklahoma. 🇺🇸

During their visit, they toured the Oklahoma City Air Logistics Complex, including B-52 Depot Maintenance and U.S. Navy Strategic Communications Wing One.

A special thank you to Blake Treinen, Ryan Ward, Ryan Fitzgerald, Cole Irvin and Ronan Kopp for representing the Comets! ☄️
