When a defender tries to knock you off your line, stay composed and on balance, protect the ball first, and use your body to create space and a better angle.

Get low and drive through contact. Drop that inside shoulder on their hip to create leverage, and don’t let their bumps deter your attack.
Absorb it, keep your momentum, and finish through it with a strong finish or at the rim.

I love this game because it gives you NOTHING — you have to TAKE it.
No handouts. No favors. No shortcuts. Just grind. Just hustle. Just DOMINATE.
That’s how I built my name. Dedication. Determination. Discipline.
Now I’m helping build the next generation that refuses to lose.
We don’t just train. We are FAMILY. We live this LIFESTYLE. We DOMINATE.

Drive, kick, and relocate!!

Guards attack closeouts!!! Make quick decisive reads when defenders are running out at you to contest your shot.
1. Be shot ready!! Catch ball eyes on rim
2. Attack advantage! Is defender running you off the line? Short close forcing shot?
3. Force chaos and rotations! Touch the paint

Getting to the paint, collapsing defenses and spraying the ball out for the 3 ball is in every team’s playbook. Be able to create advantages off the catch as well as on the ball!

Stacking days and working on skills that translate to the game! Excited about these young ballers learning the small details that separate them from the competition.

Today’s biggest focus: initiating contact, creating space, and handling pressure! Keep working and keep growing! 🏀💪🏾

Post touches come off movement, not traditional post-ups: Mobile bigs generate their post touches by rolling hard out of ball screens and dribble handoffs. While rolling they can seal their defender— getting position right under the rim before the defense can recover.

Traditional post-ups hurt spacing: Parking a big on the block clogs driving lanes and cutting lanes, so you can’t run a fluid offense if there’s no spacing or movement!

Post touches are created to exploit advantages: Teams use specific actions to get post touches for bigs and wings when there’s a mismatch or bad defensive coverage to attack. #dominateskills #basketballtraining #skilldevelopment #basketball

Preparation before the season is about building confidence—helping players feel comfortable applying what they’ve been working on when the game begins.

How do we build that confidence? Reps, reps, and more reps! Keep it simple, strengthen the foundation, and buy into the process.

Be intentional with every workout. Don’t just prepare to win games—prepare to win with purpose in everything you do. 🔑🏀

3-Man Drill working on three key concepts:

Offense: Quick swing, attack off the dribble, then relocate with hands ready for the catch-and-shoot.

Defense: Quick closeout, beat the ballhandler to the spot, and contest every shot with a high hand.

Simple concepts. Game-speed reps. Winning habits. 🏀🔥. #development #basketball #offseason #playerdevelopment

Ball screen/ Handoff Action

Bigs who are lob threats really open the floor up for attacking guards and good catch and shoot wings. Weakside help must collapse when BIGS sprint out the roll and rim run! Bigs create seperation from screen which can disrupt coverages and punish teams who rotate slow!

Bigs have become offensive hubs, handoffs are involved in a lot of actions. Guards set your defender up and sprint off handoffs to create
a 1 v1 opportunity with the big in coverage! Attack downhill if your defender trails or they switch! #dominate #basketball #dominateskills #basketballtraining #skilldevelopment basketball
