One of the highlights of the tour. We were so lucky and blessed with the most beautiful weather. Anyone who has been to Iceland themselves knows what I'm talking about.

We left our backpacks unguarded in the valley - which is absolutely no problem. Only a few are crazy enough to go to the famous Hornvik at this time of year. Watching the numerous arctic foxes, we climbed up. Although we knew where we were going none of us was prepared for what awaited us. A landscape and view which is more than overwhelming.

And there we stood. At four o'clock at night in the wind and rain, crowded together behind a typical icelandic "toilet house". Overwhelmed and blessed to be allowed to witness this natural spectacle at the end of the world.

It was a night full of adventures. Some of us lost - supposedly - all our equipment in the storm, others found themselves in wrong sleeping bags or almost abused noodle soups as toilet paper.

Time flies. A year ago, I was on my way to the greatest and most touching adventure of my life so far. I am still thankful every day for the incredible experience with the most lovable and crazy people. Often there are no words to share with the rest of the world what we have experienced together.
