For years, I filmed the journey. At the time, I didn’t think much of it. I was simply capturing moments as they happened. The train journeys. The lectures. The placements. The studio spaces. The late nights. The people around me. Looking back, I realise these clips tell a much bigger story. Whilst completing my Master of Arts Degree in Dramatherapy and Movement, life did not stop. There was bereavement, injury, surgery, friendships that changed, moments of being misunderstood, and the ongoing challenge of balancing study alongside being a wife, raising a family and managing a business. There were periods where I felt stretched far beyond what seemed manageable. At times, the end goal felt distant, and qualification itself did not always feel tangible. Along the way, I found myself working across a range of mental health settings through my placements, supporting children, young people, adults and older adults through some of the most challenging periods of their lives. Those experiences shaped me just as much as the academic learning. Yet somehow, one assignment became another. One placement became another. One year became another. What remains with me most is not the workload, the deadlines or even the qualification itself. It is the people I met, the lessons I learnt, the faith that sustained me, and the version of myself that emerged through it all. This is a small glimpse into the process. The closing of one chapter and the beginning of another🎓 #fyp #follow #explore #lifestyle #reels
