@made.bike is nothing if not a place where deep passion and ultimate quirkiness can come together under the banner of bikes.

From a 32” steel aero gravel bike (with handmade STEEL aero fork) to a cat in a tent in a bigger tent where people showcase socks, and a pedal-sauna to a beautiful documentation of lost American manufacturing, there’s a place for everything here.

All amidst rows and rows of stunning handmade bikes and bike-related things. We’re so lucky to have this in our back yard, and so fortunate to experience the wonderful coming-together of the community every year.

If you’re in the Portland area, don’t miss out on the show this weekend for a chance to get to know some rad people who make rad things.

After sharing a week of tragedy and sadness in my feed, it’s time for some happy memories & shoutout to my friends! Thanks y’all! Love sharing my favorite music festival with so many of you.
Pickathon & pickleball are not so dissimilar: they both create community & togetherness like nothing else I’ve ever experienced. I LOVE the community I’ve helped build via both of these things. Thank you to everyone who made Pickathon memorable this year. It’s an incredible stack of cards that come together to make it happen. Thank you to the artists who came out. We hope it lived up to the hype. We’re grateful to you for sharing your gifts with us.
Following the death of my friend, Anne, this week, I was moved to go reread her favorite children’s book, Ms. Rumphius. The book reminds us “to do something to make the world more beautiful.” I plan to continue to live this way & hope you’ll all join me. Love to you all & wish I had more photos of everyone who was there. More to come. Keeping the joy alive.

Born and Raised Construction means we have been actively engaged in our Community since the beginning. Thank you Ed and Windy! REACH supported us and we supported them.
Here we are in the early 90s as the poster family for families benefiting from affordable housing. This past year we got to build some affordable housing for Proud Ground thanks to Eli Spevak. During the past 9 years Born and Raised has helped many other people make their homes support them.
Thank you community!

SaunaVelo is the manifestation of Portland resident @s.lyle. At its core, the cedar wood structure that sits atop a bicycle trailer is simply a place to warm up.

“My favorite comment was when someone said, ‘I don’t even know what that is, but I like it.’” — Simon Lyle

BIG BREAK Day 1 was a success!! The @groundscore.association “One Hundred Homes” up-cycled tent shade structure is looking amazing, the planter boxes for the @friendsoftrees planting tomorrow have arrived and been filled with soil, and the @artheaux__ gallery storage container has been leveled. All of these metal pieces have been amended and prepared by @richardcawleysculpture in time for tomorrow. This morning’s @solveinoregon event gathered over 30 people in a community clean of the space in preparation for the weekend. We’re stoked for tomorrow and hope to see you out there!
