🛸Rooted in acid and electro, Phïa’s sets are built around deep rhythm, hypnotic layering and a constant sense of movement.
Phïa likes to let tracks breathe and interact, gradually folding textures and grooves into one another while keeping the room alive and locked in.
It’s less about rushing from moment to moment and more about finding that sweet spot where tension, repetition and energy take over.🛸

Bass Invaders: 18/9/26

🚀Gone fishing for UK Bass is a celebration of all things breaks, bassline and dub. Since it’s inception 2024, Gone fishing has blessed Subcity with monthly hour long mixes - each set a homage to UK dubstep culture and each of its many sub-genres.
Local dub producer Solecta, a well known face in Glasgow’s D&B scene, is the mastermind behind the project. With countless club sets under his belt and a burgeoning collection of his own releases, Bass Invaders ticket holders could not be in safer hands.🚀

Next week we are back with a bang in Glasgow! @nicensleazy countdowns on folks!

We will be welcoming none other than Solecta & Corran who will be shelling a 1hr B2B set 🔥

Solecta - Hailing from the Highlands of Fort William, Solecta is a forward-thinking, multi-genre bass DJ and producer now based in Glasgow.
With a five-year residency at Scotland’s renowned club night and promotion Midnight Bass, Solecta has established himself as a credible and forward-thinking presence within the Scottish bass music scene.
His sound moves freely across the spectrum of bass music, drawing from dubstep, jungle, drum & bass and beyond. In 2026, Solecta released his first official track Defeat, a heavy sound-system-testing minimal drum & bass cut.
Having spent years making things happen across clubs, radio and festivals, Solecta continues to push boundaries and bend the scene in his own direction.

Contacting ground control…

It’s one giant leap for radiokind as the orbits of Subcity and Hill52 connect from across the cosmos.

Our airwaves have been intercepted by some mysterious, musically-curious extraterrestrials. These bass invading beings have one simple request: that all of Glasgow’s finest earthling groovers unite at the Art School on the 18th of September and show them what it means to party on this planet we call home.

So, lace your space boots and prepare to be blown out of this world by our intergalactic lineup of alien entrancing DJs; all emerging from two gravity-defying, genre-bending community radio stations in the Glasgow galaxy.

The stars have aligned for this rare occasion. It’s a total eclipse of radio fusion.
Grab your tickets now to dance beyond dimension and ascend into pure cosmic chaos. It’s gonna be astronomical.

Friday 18th September.
