Today marks a year since Troy’s first jiu-jitsu competition. His life changed after that experience. He found a goal and didn’t stop, but kept moving forward. While a year ago he was competing against boys who already had a large number of victories and medals, today he’s one of those who comes and wins, and every aspiring child must overcome setbacks and disappointments to achieve victory. Most importantly, Troy was fortunate to be assigned to a very talented coach who invests all his time and energy into his students. Coach Abel, special thanks for your wisdom and patience, for your ability to see the rough diamonds in your students and turn them into brilliant ones. Also big thanks to Coach Ashley and Coach Jenny Wright A-1 Jiujitsu!!
