OUT NOW! 🚨

[XXIII021] Marcus Cato - Dissonant

Marcus Cato is a Bristol-based producer crafting a distinct, club-focused sound rooted in underground dance culture. Drawing from a wide range of influences, his productions move fluidly across styles while maintaining a strong emphasis on energy, rhythm and dancefloor impact.

Written over the course of summer 2025, “Dissonant” represents one of his most focused projects to date. Built for the club, the EP began just before Boomtown Festival. After hearing early versions played out there, Marcus returned to the studio to refine the tracks, rework arrangements and introduce new ideas, shaping the release into its final form.

Rapture celebrates its 3rd anniversary by returning to Gare Porto for another night of intensity, where sound becomes ritual and the dancefloor a threshold. Under the guidance of AlFaer, the night weaves EBM, Dark Wave, and shadowed techno into dense, immersive waves that blur the line between body and abyss.

Joining the journey are Ireen Amnes and Banditst4r, bringing cutting-edge electronics, industrial textures, and pulsating beats that push the night deeper into the dark, hypnotic pulse of the city.

Rapture is more than an event… it is a dive into the depths of sound, where darkness, intensity, and beauty collide in perfect rhythm.
