✨ INNER CITY WELLNESS FESTIVAL — DAY 1: PART 2 ✨

We are continuing the journey through Softness, Skin & Sisterhood. 💜

We moved with @ivine_alignments through yoga, created space for deeper connection and reflection during @rantadesiree_mystic womb healing talk and ended the day with the beautiful combination of tea ceremony + clay play with @heirloom_apothecary. ✨

A day of slowing down, coming back to ourselves, connecting with our bodies and simply being present.

Thank you to our incredible facilitators, collaborators, sponsors and to everyone who showed up and shared their energy with us.

And to those who couldn’t make it this time…we can’t wait to have you at the next one! 🫶

✨ THROWBACK THURSDAY ✨

Still thinking about our beautiful Self-Care Sunday at the Inner City Wellness Festival. 🌿🤍

Hosted by Lola & Co Organics in collaboration with @sa.wellness.association , our final day was all about slowing down, reconnecting and exploring the different ways we can care for our minds, bodies and overall wellbeing.

🧘🏾‍♀️ We started with movement and mindfulness through a beautiful yoga session with @yogawithdrake , giving our bodies the chance to stretch, breathe and reset.

🧠 Dr @dr.terry_oliphant then took us into the world of @neuro_self_mastery , sharing practical insights on understanding ourselves better, shifting our thinking and creating healthier habits for personal growth.

✨ Together with @glam__diary_ and Lola & Co Organics, we brought self-care home with an interactive skincare session, learning how to create simple at-home rituals and even making our own face mask, infused with nourishing moringa powder from @bioleafmoringa_by_ilihamia . 🌿

🥗 And because wellness is also about what we put into our bodies, our chef from @mt_pantry treated us to a nutritious lunch while teaching us about incorporating more whole foods, vegetables, lentils and legumes into our everyday meals, showing us that healthy eating can still be colourful, delicious and enjoyable.

From movement, to mindset, skincare and nutrition, the day reminded us that wellness isn’t just one thing, it’s the little choices we make to care for ourselves every day. 💚

Thank you to every facilitator, partner and beautiful woman who shared this experience with us.

Here’s to more spaces where we can move, learn, nourish, connect and simply take care of ourselves. ✨

Nestled into this festival was an experience that cannot be measured in words or pictures. Here are just a few moments from the nighttime segment of the Inner City Wellness Fest, brought to life by a creative hub dedicated to making a real impact in the world.
@namsthehuman has been working tirelessly to build spaces and places that hold creative expression safely and sacredly 💜

We want to extend a massive thank you to every face, every soul, and every person who made the First Listen experience so incredibly special. The energy was filled with pure warmth, and we are eternally grateful to everyone who showed up, danced, and kept Namakau’s secret album listening session protected💫

A very special thank you to our performers @dnemas_ , @ms.erikanotbadoo, our host @ashleighkuetche —as well as the beautiful @sa.wellness.association team for making this vision come alive. Thank you to the @aurifoundation for creating access and spaces for creatives to bring their creativity to life 💗
