«𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒍𝒆𝒂𝒓𝒏 𝒕𝒐 𝒘𝒂𝒍𝒌 𝒃𝒚 𝒘𝒂𝒍𝒌𝒊𝒏𝒈»

For our 2026 Summer Festival, 𝑳𝑰𝑴𝑰𝑻𝑳𝑬𝑺𝑺 𝑻𝑰𝑴𝑬, International Summer Program artist Salma Kiuhan (@sa1mita) presented «𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒍𝒆𝒂𝒓𝒏 𝒕𝒐 𝒘𝒂𝒍𝒌 𝒃𝒚 𝒘𝒂𝒍𝒌𝒊𝒏𝒈», a site-responsive performance named after one of Robert Wilson's maxims and centered on trust, risk, and collective listening. A faceless performer moved through the grounds by walking and falling, surrendering control to gravity and, at times, to others. Anonymity turned the body into a mirror for its surroundings, until the boundary between individual and collective experience began to dissolve.

My second performance, created at @watermillcenter during my residency this summer and presented for the Open House event.

An expansion of “Into the MultiTez” — taking the squad out for a ride, blasting music and sippin’ on some Tezzy Fizz. 🥤
