moments that made me smile recently🤩💖🤍✨👗

I’m a firm believer that the things that have a month dedicated to them are actually the things that should have all of life dedicated to them instead, but May being Mental Health Awareness Month has been acutely on my mind like never before...because I started May really aware of just how bad mine had gotten.

I didn’t realize how burnt out I was until my mind & body screamed “enough” and forced me to stop. I had spent so much time pushing through, staying busy, and convincing myself I was fine that I stopped paying attention to what was actually going on beneath the surface.

These are moments that made me smile, but what you can’t see is that behind many of them, I was either completely burnt out or slowly starting to find solid ground again.

Little by little, habits started helping. Early mornings. Pilates. Devotionals. Sunday Church. More honest conversations, especially with myself. More rest. More balance.

One of the biggest things I’m learning is that the things I love (my career, the people in my corner, the goals I’m chasing) are incredible gifts, but they can’t be the only things holding me together. A healthy life requires balance, not just achievement.

So as May comes to a close, I’m just really grateful. Grateful for the people who check on me. Grateful for the moments that feel like little glimmers when everything else feels foggy. And grateful for the reminder that healing doesn’t happen all at once, but through small choices repeated over and over again.

I’m still figuring it out. But I’m ending this month in a much healthier headspace than I started it in, and for that: THANK YOU JESUS!!

here’s another 2025 recap post for your feed✨

what do you mean 2025 is already over? this year was a year full of incredible people, opportunities, memories, and challenges. i went skiing, went to the beach, began my senior year, entered my showgirl era, met amazing people, and spent every minute i could with my family. as this year is coming to a close and 2026 is underway, this is a time for a reflection on all that was accomplished by me and everyone else. TYJ for helping me pursue every obstacle thrown at me. this year was tough, but here’s to hoping 2026 will be even better🫶🏻
