A long time coming. ❤️

We’re so excited to finally share that Trailblazing: The Matt Hadley Story has been officially selected for the @outdooroutdoorfilmfestival in Saint, John, New Brunswick! 🇨🇦

This one feels particularly special. Matt grew up in Mount Hope, New Brunswick, so bringing his story home to an audience with a connection to the place he comes from has always been something we hoped would happen.

Trailblazing follows Matt’s journey from elite mountain bike racer to trail builder, adventurer and adaptive athlete after a serious climbing accident changed his life. But at its heart, it’s not just a story about mountains or what happened to Matt. It’s a story about resilience, community and continuing to pursue the passions that make us who we are.

Since its premiere, the film has travelled much further than we ever imagined, with 15 international festival selections and three awards along the way. 🏆🙏

And now, after all those kilometres, it feels pretty special to bring it back to where Matt’s story began.

Screening details:
🗓️ Thursday, October 29, 2026, timing TBC
📍 Imperial Theatre, Saint John
🎟️ Visit ooff.ca for tickets

Thank you to everyone who has believed in this film and helped Trailblazing find its way into the world. 🙏
