Most people buy a rooftop tent for the big trips. The mountain roads, the long drives, the places a regular campsite never reaches.

Then it turns out the best part is a slow afternoon. A book, a sleeping bag, the window open to the lake. The tent does the big trips fine. It’s also very good at doing nothing.

@saanakamula and her boyfriend took the Blåsten from Finland to Estonia. A hammock between two pines, a cooler by the car, dinner from one pan.

Mornings on the roof, a lookout tower climbed because it was there.

Uncomplicated. That’s exactly why it works.

Has anyone else driven their rooftop tent over to Estonia? Tell us where you stayed 👇

O-boy tätä viikkoa tunturissa odotettiin, siihen valmistauduttiin ja sen käänteistä nautittiin. Kelirikas ruskajahti lapissa loppui liian nopeasti ja ensivuonna toivottavasti palataan! 🫎

Another wonderful year in summary and another unfortunate limit on the number of pics I can post and number of people I can tag. That won’t change how great 2025 was.
