I’m looking forward to connecting with industry peers at the 17th Durban FilmMart SA (@durbanfilmmart) this week!

If you’re attending, please come by the South African Audiovisual Cluster (@saavcorg) stand at the Great Ilanga, Elangeni Hotel. We have space available for one-on-one meetings from Friday, October 9 through Monday, October 12.

I’m also honored to be participating in two key sessions:

* Writers vs the Machine: Moderating this timely panel on AI’s place in storytelling, presented by the Writers Guild of South Africa (@writersguilds). (Saturday, Oct 10 | 9:40 AM)

* State of the South African Audiovisual Industry: Joining a closed roundtable with local stakeholders, organisations, funds and financing institutions to discuss the challenges and future of our sector. (Monday, Oct 12 | 9:40 AM)

Looking forward to engaging with fellow delegates as we turn inward to shape the future of African filmmaking. See you there!
