2 (they/them) is the artist and illustrator of 2am Whimsy, with a passion for crafting handmade trinkets & accessories. Their best sellers are their Whimsy Mirrors: Cute mirror charms decorated with maximum decoration cuteness and relatable sayings, as well as their new Scrap Cats: Cat Plushy bag charms/ornaments made with scrap & secondhand materials, each one being a one-of-a-kind hand-sewn pal.

2 has been a professional illustrator for over 8 years, and has been vending at a variety of events since 2021. They are motivated by creating unique art that people can see themselves in, helping everyone feel not only represented, but celebrated & beautiful in a fantastical setting. Their original story, “Off-Kilter” is in the works, depicting a group of friends fighting to end the occupation. 2’s love for fashion, cultural research, illustration, and storytelling all collide in this original comic.

Vendor Spotlight ✨

Casey Duck (they/he) is a Grand Rapids artist mostly focusing on photography and print making - making images objects and little visual acts of resistance that hopefully bring some joy on the way. We are honored to be hosting Casey and his genius cyanotypes! Casey Duck will be selling stationary and journal ephemera— journaling friends, this is one is for you!

A five pack of postcard with original cyanotype art will be another one of our raffle prizes! Stay tuned for more raffle information and prizes ✨

Casey is a dear friend of mine and one of the most creative people I know. Many art prints hanging in my house are original Casey Duck cyanotypes, including the print of Dolly Parton in slide 3. From watching him fill a Hobonichi journal over the course of a year to trying to cyanotype on a partly sunny day, I am constantly in awe of what Casey can create. ✨

I vended with Kat at the Bryn Mawr Makers Mart, sitting behind them and smelling perfumes, we talked about their process and constant inspirations, and using dead bugs for art— don’t worry, that’s for personal projects. I am so excited to vend with Kat again and pick myself up a perfume or two!

Feeling a little retro on this fall day. How many of your favorite 90s games and toys can you spot? Do you still have them? Personally, we’ve been slowly re-acquiring ours, and it’s wild to look for them! Perhaps easier is enjoying the fan art from our favorites.
