WOLF VOSTELL - SUN IN YOUR HEAD exhibition — 17 Oct 2026 to May 2027 For its 50th anniversary, the Museo Vostell Malpartida (MVM) presents the exhibition Wolf Vostell: Sun in Your Head. At its centre are Vostell’s early television works, among them 6 TV Dé-coll/age (1963), on loan from the Museo Reina Sofía, the installation You (1964) and the video Sun in Your Head (1963). A video programme of eight international positions, from Nevin Aladağ to Sabrina Ratté, carries Vostell’s question about the manipulated image into the digital image stream, from the PAL signal and found footage to AI-generated images. The exhibition is a co-production with the Goethe-Institut Madrid. It is curated by Levin Vostell, Artistic Director of the Museo Vostell Malpartida (MVM), with Anemone Vostell as co-curator. 📸 1. WAMin avajaisnäyttelyt! ✨️ Sabrina Ratté Web of Wyrd 31.10.2026–25.4.2027 Kanadalaisen mediataiteilijan Sabrina Rattén ensimmäinen Pohjoismaissa nähtävä soolonäyttely Web of Wyrd avaa museon alakerran uuden näyttelytilan. Opening exhibitions at WAM! ✨️ Sabrina Ratté Web of Wyrd 31.10.2026–25.4.2027 Web of Wyrd, the first solo exhibition in the Nordic countries by Canadian media artist Sabrina Ratté (b. 1982), will inaugurate a new exhibition space on the museum’s ground floor. Based in Montreal, Ratté is known for her visually rich works combining 3D animation, analog video, print, and installation. At WAM, she will create a mystical environment where the boundaries between the space and the artwork are deliberately blurred. Kuvat/Images: Pharmakon Veneficium, 2025.  Plane of Incidence I, 2024.

The songs by LiY featured in SONGS FOR TELESCOPE come to life in an almost epistolary fashion. Christian Lapointe composes the music and sends it to Simon Stephens, who writes the lyrics. The work then makes its way to Laurence Dauphinais, who freely creates the melodic lines and gives them her voice. From October 7 to 10, join us on this cosmic journey, where the audience will leave the stands behind and, exceptionally, take their place standing onstage! Co-presented with the Phénomena Festival.
