Simba #A5686342 was rescued from Downey ACC. 🎉
He was hours away from being euthanized for space when his rescue stepped in to save him. Simba is young, full of life, and incredibly sweet — But despite his sweet and kind heart, he’s had a rough road. After being let down by his longterm foster (through no fault of his own), Simba is now in training, learning and growing every day.

He’s amazing with other large, playful dogs and has so much love to give. He’s very energetic, fun, and just wants someone who understands him and his needs. Sadly, misinformation from his previous owners — like saying he was good with small animals (he’s not) — makes it harder to find the right fit. But we know the right home is out there.

Simba urgently needs a new active foster or forever home in Arizona, who can give him the stimulation, structure, patience, and love he deserves.

🪻Please reach out if you can foster or adopt Simba

Thank you for your support by sharing and pledging for Simba!

🪻Please send a screenshot or a comment, so we can see how the pledge was honored

✨Watch his freedom video on Instagram @californiashelterpets and follow me to support more urgent dogs in need and to hopefully watch more freedom videos 💫

DM if you wanna get involved!

THANK YOU ✨

✨FOSTERING SAVES LIVES✨

A huge shoutout to his transport @sabrinabarkdull who drove all the way from AZ to pick Simba up. And to Erik for giving him a temporary home 💜
