Detroit Music Scene - meet @drewverdemusic I’ve seen him perform online and supported his music from afar during this musical journey… but seeing him perform live in person and weave a web of words through these lyrics was something else entirely. The breath control that musicians and specifically vocal ninjas of rap have to get through the words with articulation and still be able to flow so effortlessly.. I’m astounded. And an extra special shoutout to the producer of this song, the lovely and super talented Loreal of @thelcatalog She is so kind, super knowledgeable about hiphop, makes beats, mixes, produces, and also shines a light on local talent through her fun podcast. If you see her around town, do yourself a favor and say hello. You won’t be sorry. I hope you enjoy these snippets from his performance for @tmoneygreen731 the legendary bass player, producer, and host of @hypedupsessions during his 70th birthday celebration and the 100th episode of the show where Tony handpicked this special lineup of talent. If you enjoyed this rap, please go check out Drew and give him a follow for more up to date live performances and go show him some love. 🩵🫶🏼🤍

Detroit Music Scene please sit back and enjoy this little magical share from @bethalwayssings during the celebration of @tmoneygreen731 70th birthday and the 100th episode of @hypedupsessions I was blown away by this performance and the power in this beautiful woman’s voice. This is something special that you’re going to want to stop and take 40 seconds of your day to listen to. My life was enriched by being here for this.. I only wish the sound did her as much justice as she sounded in person. This pure powerhouse of a voice. Wow. Do yourself a favor and go give her a follow, check out her website for some of the live performances. You will not be sorry..

Detroit Music Scene - meet @bethalwayssings (Beth Griffith Manley) an amazing singer with a rich and soulful voice who I recently had the pleasure of hearing perform @tmoneygreen731 70th birthday and @hypedupsessions momentous 100th episode. What an honor to hear such a voice come and respect the legendary TMoney who is beloved by so many musicians as he gives so much to the music community. Beth is a well known and revered in the Detroit Music Scene but it was an honor for me to hear this national performer (who has sung alongside greats like Anita Baker and on The Voice) sing at the momentous Birthday celebration for our friend Tony. This song and how she sang it resonates with me and brought an extra smile to my face as she sang it just the way my mother did. Hats off to you Beth and lots of respect from my little corner. I will be sharing by another performance soon. If you like her sound, please go check out her page, give her a follow for more up to date info and show her some love. 🩵🫶🏼🤍

Detroit Music Scene - The legendary @tmoneygreen731 just turned 70!!! And he celebrated with some of his nearest and dearest at his 100th episode of @hypedupsessions It was a night filled with music, laughter, and celebrating a pretty amazing guy who gives so much to the music scene and the artists in it.
