Be Hear Now

Be Hear Now is an electroacoustic immersive sound journey that moves beyond the traditional sound bath, combining ancient and modern instruments with amplification to create layers of beneficial vibration in its full spectrum and possibility.

The journey features Phil Smart (turntables, crystal and Himalayan bowls, percussion), Fin Wegner (modular synthesizers, zither and flute), Sachi Mehta (voice) and Julia Beiers (bass guitar + effects). The space will also be curated with ambient lighting designed by light artist Madeline Holt and projection artist Juniper Errey.

At its heart, Be Hear Now is about about creating a safe and intentional sonic space for relaxation, reflection, healing and self-transformation, grounded in ritual and intention.

The experience runs for two and a half hours. From 7:00 pm, the evening begins with 30 minutes to arrive and settle, followed by a 90-minute performance and 30 minutes afterwards for integration and conversation.

Some soft cushions and floor coverings will be provided. You are welcome to bring anything else to make yourself comfortable: yoga mats, pillows, bolster, eye mask, blankets, tea, whatever you like.

If lying down is not comfortable for you, please contact BEMAC ahead of time so we can make arrangements.
