March Madness? More like March Memories 🏀✨

A few weeks later and we’re still grateful for the incredible #wclub alumnae who came home to celebrate the legacy, the laughs, and the lasting impact of Wisconsin Women’s Basketball! #onceabadgeralwaysabadger 🦡 #badgers #onwisconsin

Today was the end of an era in our little corner of the world.

The last game at the Kohl Center for the final @badgerwbb players who were part of Emma’s original @goteamimpact team configuration. And somehow that feels bigger than basketball.

@ronnie.porter1 and @lilyrae_4 — our originals — played their final official game in a Wisconsin uniform today. We still remember the day they first welcomed Emma in, not as a charity case, not as a side note, but as one of their own. They made space for her in huddles, on buses, in locker rooms, and in their hearts.

@leenapatibandla joined the following year and folded herself so naturally into our lives that it’s hard to remember a time she wasn’t part of our family.

This year, @dest1nyhowell and Gift came in for their senior season and brought with them such grace, strength, and joy. Incredible athletes, yes — but even more extraordinary humans.

Emma officially graduated from TeamIMPACT last year. But @coachpingeton , in her endless generosity, allowed Emma to continue those relationships this season. And what a gift that has been.

This year has not been an easy one for Emma. There have been more health challenges, more appointments, more hard days than we would have chosen. And yet these women — these fiercely loyal, genuinely kind, wildly talented women — have continued to lift her up. They check in. They encourage. They show up. They remind her she belongs.

They are setting the standard for what it means to be a teammate. For what it means to be a leader. For what it means to be a human being.

We are beyond blessed to have walked alongside Ronnie, Lily, Leena, Destiny, and Gift. Wisconsin Women’s Basketball will always be part of our story — and they will always be part of our family.

Some chapters close. But the love doesn’t.

Forever grateful. ❤️🏀 #allinalltogether
