Our community showed up ready to Charge into Fire + Life Safety! 🚒❤️ Thank you to everyone who joined us during Fire Prevention Week to learn, connect, and take home tips to keep their families safe. Thank you to our hosting partner, Sacramento Children’s Museum, and to American Red Cross California Gold Country Region, State Farm, Metro Fire CERT, SMUD, Sacramento County Fire Safe Council, Firefighters Burn Institute, Del Campo Fire Explorers, and Capital City CPR for sharing your knowledge and making safety education so much fun for our community! A special thank-you to our volunteers for giving your time and energy to help make this event a success. We appreciate the care and enthusiasm you brought to the day! This event was supported in part by the City of Rancho Cordova’s Measure H Community Enhancement & Investment Fund. Every conversation and connection helps build a safer, more prepared community. TK classes attended the Sacramento children’s museum’s Van-Go Color Lab. Students got to hear a story and discussed primary and secondary colors before they rotated through 5 different stations - wind tunnel, light table, mixing (used primary to create secondary colors), color sorting, and created their own color wheels using various items such as feathers and stickers. #FortuneFlyers #centerjointunified #steamlearning #vangocolorlab
